Welcome to the new 2013-2014 season! A few bits of info for the upcoming season:
Monday 8pm – 9.30pm at Walton High School starting on the 16th September 2013.
Monday Training will run every week and be coached every other week by Level 2 coach John Tighe from Harrow – an experienced korfball player who will be concentrating on developing skills and gameplay each week and providing a lesson plan for alternative weeks to practice what was focussed on.
Wednesday – 8pm – 9.30pm at Shenley Brook End School. Starting on the 18th September 2013
Wednesday Training will be coached by Cameron Prentice – Cam is an England youth international player with bags of enthusiasm and experience. He will be supported by senior players and also concentrate on skills and gameplay development.
This year there will be a membership fee to pay to join MK Lakers. This will be compulsory for all players as it includes affiliation to the EKA which provides insurance and support for the league. Your membership fee is valid for 12 months. You will not be able to play without your affiliation.
Membership fee: £23
Monthly training fees will be payable by DIRECT DEBIT ONLY. There will be NO pay as you play this season I am afraid. We have talked about this decision at length and to bring us in line with other sports teams and clubs, we have not taken this decision lightly.
Monthly training fees: £20 per month payable by direct debit. 12 months of the year.
Your monthly training fees allows you to attend both monday and wednesday sessions if you like but is based on still being good value for just one session a week.
You will need to pay your affiliation and set up your Direct Debit’s on this website – click here to get started.
We have a new kit this year – if you’d like to buy your own, have a nosy at our kit store.
Looking forward to seeing you all at training!
